This residential coop converted from a commercial loft had a dark and oppressive lobby. A feeling of openness and daylight is created by a horizontal plane of light that mimics the sky. Its soft glow can be intensified or decreased. A rain of light on the textured walls adds to the sense of sunlight in the interior.
