Trinity College, a prestigious historic academic institution, is located in a high risk urban neighborhood. Using the research and analytical techniques of environmental psychology, Tillett Lighting Design developed a master plan and oversaw the installation of key elements.

An “open campus” with porous borders flowing into the surrounding neighborhood, new lighting established the identity of the campus at night, clarified wayfinding, and addressed issues of security and perceptions of safety.
