Firm

A.V. Ryan is Senior Associate for Special Projects and Communications. She joined the firm in 2017 to develop the firm’s visual and textual communications for print, web, and social media. Responsible for articulating the firm’s philosophy, approach and designs, she crafts compelling texts and images to communicate the firm’s delicate and exacting sensitivity to habitat, human and non-human alike. She is also a sculptor and in 2019, began consulting on outdoor lighting for two private collections of monumental outdoor sculpture, including works by Richard Serra, Simone Leigh, and Richard Long. In 2021, she began contributing to the firm’s special projects, including Children’s Memory Garden (Nashville, TN) and the de Menil Residence Garden (Houston, TX). She became Senior Associate for Special Projects and Communications in 2025.
