All our outdoor projects -- whether an urban park, a memorial plaza or a private sculpture garden – reflect an acute sensitivity to the physical character of the site, its local ecology, community practices and desired emotional tone. Each topology requires a different balance between function and poetry, the technical and the ecological, as well as the affective, social and symbolic dimensions of shared space at night.
